Karen used her brother Sidney's nickname "Sandy" for this flower.The naming of this plant was part of The Good Shepherds annual Harvest Dinner charity auction. Although base colour can be weather dependant ranging from cream to pink, this flower always displays its bold red eye, edge and vibrant green throat.
